Strength & Balance Class 12:25PM This class is perfect for older adults who feel they have lost some strength and balance. With a nice mix of strength training, Balance exercises and stretching, these classes are fun, ever-changing and complete in their scope. They are also very social, so come out and make some new friends while getting a great workout in! |
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL CLASS LOOK LIKE?
- we start off by doing a dynamic warmup in chairs, preparing our bodies for the upcoming exercise. From there, we transition to a "circuit" consisting of a mix of strength and balance classes, all performed in a safe and suitable manner for our participants. Following the completion of the circuit we return to our chairs for stretching and range of motion exercises. In between the start and finish of each class we laugh, crack terrible jokes and have a lot of fun!
