hMaddy Bray - Office Manager/Instructor
Maddy Bray is in her final year of the Elementary Education program at Vancouver Island University. She began dancing at age 5 and developed this passion for 12 years. She began with tap but quickly added ballet, jazz, and modern to her repertoire. She completed both CDTA and RAD examinations, as well as participated in numerous provincial wide competitions. Unfortunately she had to stop dancing due to a recurring knee injury, however she channeled her love of dance into music and this lead her to completing an Associate of Applied Arts in Professional Music in Creston, Iowa. While she loved every second of studying music, she always missed the dance world and is extremely excited to be back Maddy believes that dance is an avenue for creativity and expression. Not only is it a wonderful workout for our bodies and minds but it builds a community of trust. Within which, students may gain an appreciation for beauty, a sense of accomplishment. Maddy was born to teach and she is very excited to be dancing with the children of Nanaimo and Parksville! ttp://www.nceaca
