Studio Owner/ Personal Trainer / Class Instructor
Doug was born and raised on Vancouver Island. He has always been active and loves to share his love for fitness with his friends and clients. Doug enjoys working with people of all ages (his clients range from age 8 to 81), and believes that there is an athlete hiding somewhere within all of us. He enjoys running, hiking, kayaking, triathlons, and spending as much time as possible pursuing various recreational pursuits on our beautiful island. As well as being a full-time Personal Trainer, Doug also coaches youth soccer. He enjoys leading various group fitness classes, such as running clinics, bootcamps, and various special interest classes. In this past year, Doug has become the facilitator for the local Parkinson's Disease support group.
Doug believes in functional movement training. You won't find rows of treadmills and weight machines in his studio. You will engage in effective and mindful activities that will prepare you for the life you live outside the doors of his studio.
